Description
Two things usually pull against each other in a men’s shoe. A formal loafer looks right and hurts by evening. A comfortable shoe is comfortable and looks like a trainer. The Colorado is our attempt at having both without the compromise being obvious.
Above the sole it is a proper dress loafer: full-grain leather with a basketweave texture across the vamp, a metal bit at the front, a smooth heel counter, and full leather lining. Built in our own factory in Tamil Nadu, in a group that has spent seven decades making footwear for brands sold across Europe and the United States.
Below it is something else entirely. A sculpted, lightweight sole with real cushioning underfoot, so you can wear this through an airport, a full working day and a reception afterwards. Black, which means you can wear it with a suit, with chinos, and with a kurta, and nobody has to know it is the most comfortable shoe you own.
